The Museum of Selfies is a museum that has taken famous portraits and artistic works and added a phone to the image.
The inventors of the museum, Tommy Honton and Tair Mamedov, were inspired by the fact that thousands of tourists have taken selfies with the Mona Lisa displayed in the Louvre museum in France.
In the words of the owner, the Museum of Selfies is an “interactive museum that explores the history and cultural phenomenon of the selfie…with roots dating back 40,000 years”. Therefore, this one of a kind exhibition isn’t only for social media fanatics. It’s a great choice for history lovers too!
The general price of admission is around $25 but can get more expensive on popular days and frequently visited times. The exhibition will be open from April 1st to May 31st so be sure to check it out while you can!
