We all have that one friend who goes on the most lavish vacations and would never even consider going on a commercial cruise but we have something that may change their minds. Ritz-Carlton has just announced that they are coming out with their first ever cruise by launching the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. This collection is a group of three custom boats that will feel like a cross between a yacht and a resort for the perfect travel experience.

Each yacht will have 149 suites with private balconies and is meant for up to 298 people. The boats, which will come out in 2019, will also be available for private charters. Destinations are not finalized but they will probably include the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America. It will also include ports that are usually not available to larger vessels such as Capri, Portofino, and St. Barths.

“We will be one of the smallest, ultra-luxury cruise ships in the market…and we’re hoping to attract those who wouldn’t consider a mainstream cruise, but would entertain a highly-curated yacht style experience.” Says Herve Humler, president of the Ritz Carlton Company. He also says that “Through collaborations with local chefs, musicians, and artists, guests will get to experience the locations in unique and experiential ways, both onboard and ashore.”

You can start reserving your luxury vacation in May 2018 and for now, you can go to ritzcarlton.com for more information.
