And while she has definitely left a legacy of talent and success, one of the most famous things that she leaves behind is the famous drink, none other than her own name, the Shirley Temple.

The Shirley Temple is arguably one of the one famous non-alcoholic beverages that exists across bars today. Children order this drink as a fancier alternative to their regular drink of choice at restaurants, kids are served Shirley Temple mocktails at wedding events or other events where most people have a fancy drink in their hands are a yummy alternative to grape juice and sparkling apple cider. There is also another version of this drink that is called a Dirty Shirley. For those who grew up enjoying the taste of a typical Shirley Temple, this drink is an option that adds a little bit of alcohol to the traditional beverage. However, the typical Shirley Temple remains the most popular option.

The story behind this iconic beverage stems from when the actress was at a dinner with her family and needed something to drink. She was apparently whining about not having a fancy drink to drink like her parents did. So, the bartenders came up with a cocktail to satisfy her urge to drink a classy beverage like her parents.
