The Candytopia Experience

The 21st century has seen quite a number of new and innovative products and services; with one of the more outstanding amongst them being the variety of pop-ups emerging on a daily basis.

Today on an international scale, you are able to find pop-up ice cream parlor, pop-up restaurants, and even pop-up beaches; however, one pop-up that has never existed until now is one that is called Candytopia.

What is this Candytopia? Well for those of us who are familiar with the hit movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory; Candytopia is a pop-up candy store experience which is akin to that which was depicted in the movie.

The Candytopia idea was conceptualized by Jackie Sorkin, who is more popularly known as the star of TLC’s The Candy Queen and constructed by master fabricator Zac Hartog.

Candytopia had its first pop-up on December 15, 2017, at the L.A. Hangar Studios’ special warehouse and studio space. The Candytopia pop-up has since found a perminant home in Santa Monica, so it’s not too late to get your ticket and be a part of this once in a lifetime experience.

If you’re not based in California, the exhibt plans on having pop-ups across the nation, so check out their website for updates on it.

At Candytopia the experience starts at the gate, as it has been confirmed that many of the dynamic, enticing, appetizing environment features are actually a combination of a variety of candies; however, not every environmental amenity is edible, neither is the consumption of the edible aspects encourages.

Throughout the tour, guests will be giving the opportunity to indulge their taste buds by sampling different types of candies through pop-ups.
