  • America is in love with Starbucks. And Starbucks is in love with America. It is our staple go-to coffee house and its stores can be found all over the country. Its creative coffee concoctions are far from the traditional Italian coffee. But the reason why Starbucks has continued to fuel the nation, is because its beverages are overflowing with insane amounts of sugar. And you know we like our sugar.
  • Here is a little to think about: A single-serving Grande 16 oz. drink can range anywhere from 17 teaspoons of sugar (like in the Caffe Vanilla Frappuccino) to eight teaspoons of sugar (as can be found in the Caramel Macchiato). Starbucks’s most popular seasonal drink, the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha, has nearly 20 teaspoons of sugar! Maybe its time to start looking around for a new coffee shop…
