Three Things You May Not Know About Cruise Ships

Want to travel to multiple cities or even countries at a time without paying a premium price for a round trip plane ride with a tiny bathroom, nasty airplane food, and a minimal amount of leg space? Well, if you are the adventurous type and get excited about visiting multiple places at once, a cruise could be a wonderful option for you. Maybe you even embarked on one of these over the seas adventures this past holiday season.

Whether you have been a previous cruise ship passenger or are looking to book your next trip, there are some things that you may not have known that go down on cruise ships behind the scenes. Some anonymous cruise ship workers have spilled the deets.

For one, it is safe to assume that if you are out of your cabin at any time, you are on camera. Cruise Ships are loaded with hidden cameras for security purposes. However, they can catch some pretty unsavory footage of guests.

Some cruise workers lead completely different lives on the ship than they do off of it. Many cruise workers use the opportunity of being completely disconnected from their everyday lives to pursue relationships outside of their on-land marriages or even come out of the closet only while they are aboard.

Lastly, there is a strict rule that cruise ship workers are not allowed to hook up with guests and any form of these inappropriate interactions can result in immediate disposal of someone from the cruise line. This is mostly in order to restrict any allegations of sexual violence or other charges against the cruise line.

With this rule in tact, it is also no wonder that the cruise workers have a habit of getting with each other.
