Sometimes, dating feels like interviewing. You sit in front of your counterpart to answer personal questions while trying to impress the other. Among these liars, some really went beyond anyone’s limit. Like Roger Day, 62, who convinced his wife to be a war hero. For years, she thought to be married to a brave general. She even bought him medals after he told her that his decorations got lost in action. The poor wife found out the truth when her husband attended a Remembrance Day parade wearing 17 medals on his chest. When the truth came out the man was charged under the Military Act 1955 for pretending to be a member of the armed forces. After years of marriage, Roger’s wife found out that she didn’t have a decorated war hero on her side, but a big fat liar.
