While sacked by the Ottomans in 1551, it continues to stand today. What’s particularly special about the Cathedral of the Assumption is that it continues to house remains from each of these periods, allowing you to travel through time.
If there’s one easy place to find all of Malta’s most prized artworks, it’s the MUŻA National Museum of Art. This museum is open on Mondays and Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 AM until 5 p.m. so make sure to plan your itinerary accordingly.
