When you think of los angeles, you think of a city that is full of life and where there is always something to do. You may think it is the city to run into all your favorite celebrites and see the world famous Beverly Hills or go to fun beaches. But what you probably don’t think of when you think of LA are haunted hotels with ghosts as a result of a tragedy. LA is a fun, lively city known as the city of stars. It was recently celebrated in the movie “Lala Land” and it is a great location to visit and an amazing destination for your holidays. However, you must know that there’s a very scary and sketchy place in LA that we highly suggest to avoid.
We are talking about the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. This hotel is famous for being haunted by ghosts.
These ghosts are the tenants who were lodging there at the time of tragedy. The hotel is supposed to host two ghosts: Montgomery Clift, who stayed at the hotel for three long months while rehearsing his role in the movie From Here to Eternity in 1953 and Marilyn Monroe who was there several times.
One ghost is located in room number 928 of the 9th floor of the hotel and the other one of Monroe is a full-length mirror. The mirror was originally located in Suite 1200 where the star usually stayed. It is now located next to the elevator on the lower level.
