An airplane crew helped delivering a baby aboard at 42,000 feet. It seems like a Grey’s Anatomy episode, but it is all true. The woman gave birth with the help of crew members. She successfully delivered her baby girl halfway through her flight.

BBC has reported that the cabin crew and passengers aboard a Turkish Airlines flight noticed that a mother, 28 weeks pregnant, was experiencing some strong pain during the flight from Conakry to Istanbul via Ouagadougou.

“They promptly responded to assist her childbirth during the flight,” BBC explains. The story has a happy ending as the Turkish Airlines shared the photos of the experience on Facebook. They wrote a post with the following caption: “Welcome on board Princess! Applause goes to our cabin crew! “According to the website of the airline, “expectant moms that are less than 28 weeks along are free to travel without pause.

Those between 28 weeks and 35 weeks are required to obtain a doctor’s note that declares them fit to travel.” The mom and her baby Kadiju are in good health. The baby will have an incredible story to tell once he’ll be a grown up!
