I think we all value sleep a lot. But, those from the United KIngdom might value their sleep a little bit more than we think. Yes, you read the title well. Apparently people from England miss more their beds than their own children when they are abroad. How do we know? According to the 4th edition of the Business Travel and Technology Survey lead by Egencia, the business travel arm of the Expedia group, UK workers do miss their beds a lot, but is it really more than they miss their very own children?

For thousands of years, mankind has made its mark on the world. Some of the greatest buildings have withstood the tests of time and survive as great monuments to the civilizations of long ago and today we continue to build, higher, grander - anything to prove our greatness.

Makenna Greenwald stopped to clean President Trump’s Hollywood Star. She took a picture, and, obviously, Tweeted it with the caption “Stopped to clean @realDonaldTrump Hollywood Star. Nothing but respect for MY President. #RaisedRight.”

According to google dictionary, a stereotype is “a widely held but fixed and simplified image or idea of a particular type of person or idea.”  But where do we get these images and ideas from? Clearly we didn’t just make them up in our mind. We learn certain stereotypes mostly from what we hear from our parents who heavily influence our beliefs and thoughts starting at a young age, and then also from the media. We listen to what others have to say and are willing to take some people’s words over others. Most people don’t intentionally stereotype others. We have an unconscious bias that settles everyone into categories in which they’re with people similar to them. Stereotyping is associated with much more than just race, but also genders. For example, women are more likely the ones to stay home and take care of their children rather than the men. Because of this, most people associate all women as naturally nurturing, downplaying the extent of what else they can do, such as things equivalent to men. It’s sad how pervasive the effect that stereotyping has on us, but it’s something we have developed naturally therefore not even realizing we’re doing it. It can be hard to stop using stereotypes if they are something that you have been using your whole life, or if they have been present among friends and family. Anyone who claims they do not use stereotypes is not being truthful. Stereotypes are natural for us to use and often times how we categorize people.

The Brazilian economy came to a screeching halt due to a major political crisis caused by the car wash (lava-jato) scandal. The scandal involved the government of Brazil, bribes in the millions of dollars and Petrobras, a group of big construction companies. Despite the corruption showing no signs of being resolved anytime in the near future, Havaianas flip-flop has found itself in the middle of the scandal.

High school crushes always stay with us. That unfulfilled first love is so innocent and pure that we can never let it go, and we always seem to remeber who it is. Unfortunately, most times we will never get the chance to date that person and later in life it will be hard to trace and find that first love, and if we are lucky, love will find its way into our life and we will be satisfied in this area, and it won't matter that we didn't get to have a chance with our highschool crush...for most of us.

There are so many different accents that you will hear if you travel the world. From choppy Irish accents to harsh German Accents to sultry Spanish accents, languages across the world, because of how their punctuation is structured, have developed different accents that vary greatly. One of the most appealing accents to women living in the United States is the British/ English accent. American accents may not be as attractive to other becuase American pop culture including entertainment is way more commonly found around the world than any other country. As a result, the American may not have as much mystery to it like some other accents.

Traveling to exotic destinations is one of the many luxuries that most people around the world dream of doing. In the past, people have been thrown off by the very costly prices of many of the hotels and other rentals available to tourists in these tropical destinations. The expenses associated with traveling often deterred many of the would-be adventurers.
